High-frequency screens are highly efficient, with small amplitudes and high screening frequencies. They serve as effective equipment for the screening and classification of fine-grained materials and are widely used in the screening or grading processes of mineral processing plants for iron ore, tin, tungsten, tantalum, niobium sand, and other ores. For high-frequency screens, which are designed for wet screening with the sole purpose of dewatering, it is essential to quickly form a filter layer of material on the screen surface to block fine coal particles from passing through. This helps reduce the loss of solid material in water and improve the recovery rate of solids. However, excessive screen surface amplitude can disrupt the filter layer. Therefore, wet screening does not require large amplitudes. Under achievable vibration intensities, higher vibration frequencies should be adopted to increase the relative action frequency of the slurry on the screen surface and enhance its transport capacity. Thus, the ideal operational characteristics for wet screening machines should be high frequency and low amplitude. High-frequency screens are precisely wet screening machines based on this theoretical foundation, with vibration frequencies exceeding 24 Hz and amplitudes ranging from 1.0 to 2.5 mm.
